Azealia Banks Signs with Lady Gaga’s Manager

Up-and-coming rapper Azealia Banks will now be represented by Lady Gaga‘s manager, Troy Carter, the Hollywood Reporter reports. This is good news for the 20-year-old rapper, who recently signed a deal with Universal Music in January after departing from the large indie label XL Recordings.
Banks’ first full-length album, Broke with Expensive Taste, is expected to hit stores in September. The rapper shot to stardom late in 2011 with her self-released single “212,” and she recently played a very well-received set at the Coachella festival.
