Big Sean Arrested on Sexual Assault Charge

Rapper/ghost writer Big Sean was arrested on Thursday (August 4) in New York with a friend and charged with sexual assault.
New York State Park Police received a complaint that a female had been sexually assaulted during a concert where the G.O.O.D. Music rapper performed on the same bill as Wiz Khalifa.
The rapper, born Sean Anderson, was arrested along with Willie Hansbro at approximately 9:50 p.m. ET after the woman issued the complaint. Both were charged with forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree and sex abuse in the third degree and will have to appear in court.
Big Sean’s lawyer, Scott E. Leemon, released this statement Friday regarding the arrest saying:
“Last night, recording artists, Sean “Big Sean” Anderson and Willie “Sayitainttone” Hansbro were arrested and then immediately released by the NY State Police in connection with an allegation made by a female who was at their concert in Lewiston, New York.
Both men were charged with misdemeanors and they both vehemently deny the allegations. I am confident, that after further investigation, both men will be vindicated.”
